Creating an account
Everything on AutoFlip happens inside an account. You give a name, an email address and a mobile number, confirm the email with a six-digit code, and that is the account made. You can sign in with Google or Apple instead, in which case the address on that account is the one we use.
Creating an account and verifying your identity are separate steps. Where a verification status appears anywhere on AutoFlip, it reflects a real check — never a placeholder.
Listing a vehicle
Adding a vehicle is a few steps in the app: what it is, what it has done, what you want for it, and photographs. You can save and come back before anything goes live.
A listing can be offered to private buyers, to participating dealerships, or to both — and you can change that afterwards.
Enquiries and offers
Interested buyers message you inside AutoFlip. Your phone number is not part of the listing, and it is not shared unless you share it.
Offers arrive in the same place. You can accept, counter or decline, and the history stays against the vehicle so a conversation picked up days later still makes sense.
Meeting a buyer
The sale itself happens between the two of you. AutoFlip does not take payment, hold funds, or act as an escrow — arrangements for payment and handover are yours to agree.
Take the ordinary precautions you would for any private sale: meet somewhere public and busy, in daylight, and do not hand over keys or papers before you are satisfied.
